>>5337378That's not how it works, I'm afraid. It's not a matter of intelligence, it's just simple temperament. Different styles suit different people for reasons I don't know. All I know is, for me, personally, I could never, ever, EVER finish a story if I did it your way. The only way I'd finish a story is if I did it MY way, which is to plan the whole thing (not at all the same as starting from the conclusion and working backwards btw) and then start writing, not linearly, and often revising the plan as I go.
Beginners should do whatever's natural to them, because that will be what they can most easily do. Practice is the only thing a beginner needs.
For what it's worth, I've read about planning a lot more than I've read about your style of writing. There's no established way of doing things, but if there WAS gonna be one, it'd be to plan first and then write.
